I would like to say that I have had the pleasure of seeing this gifted young lady perform at the Quiet Fire Track Club meet last season (2011), at the USATF Region 15 Regional Champtionships (2011) and at the 2011 Junior Olympic Games in Wichita, KS (2011). I can say that she is one of the finest youth athletes I”ve ever seen and watching her run is like watching a work of art. I don’t think reasonable minds can differ: she is a beautiful athlete. I am glad that my daughter runs the 800m (and is a 3-time All-America in her own right) and doesn’t have to face her. Lauren is a VERY nice young lady too; her parents should be proud to have raised such a graceful, humble person.
