I would like to say that I have had the pleasure of seeing this gifted young lady perform at the Quiet Fire Track Club meet last season (2011), at the USATF Region 15 Regional Champtionships (2011) and at the 2011 Junior Olympic Games in Wichita, KS (2011). I can say that she is one of the finest youth athletes I”ve ever seen and watching her run is like watching a work of art. I don’t think reasonable minds can differ: she is a beautiful athlete. I am glad that my daughter runs the 800m (and is a 3-time All-America in her own right) and doesn’t have to face her. Lauren is a VERY nice young lady too; her parents should be proud to have raised such a graceful, humble person.
JOHN,
THANKS FOR THE KIND WORDS. THERE IS SO MUCH THAT GOES INTO NURTURING AN ATHLETE.WE ARE ENJOYING EVER MOMENT BUT FOR SURE THE PRE- ALMOST TEEN ATHLETE IS AN INTERESTING JOURNEY AS YOU KNOW.:-) IF WE HAVE DONE ANYTHING RIGHT IT IS SIMPLY RELYING ON THE GRACE OF JESUS FOR DIRECTION AND GUIDANCE. I AM ALWAYS IN AWE OF HIS LOVE FOR US AND PATIENCE AS WE WALK AND SHE RUNS FOR HIM. HERE’S WISHING YOUR DAUGHTER FAST TIMES AND LOT’S OF FUN THIS SUMMER IN BALTIMORE. IF YOU SEE ME PLEASE SAY HI WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU !
John put it best but my first experience when i saw her was at Norbonne 2011 I believe, she ran that 100 my mouth hit the floor I was speechless at this young ladys talent. So now at each meet i sit anxiously waiting to see Lauren run. She runs with grace , I love the way she motivates her team the sportsman ship she has…SHE IS VERY HUMBLE. I LOVE IT!!!!. Mom, Dad keep up the good work…:-)
She is VERY fast for an 11 year old I’m 12 and trying to get to the same 100m. time as her. But she is very humble thats really good! =D
Looks like this amazing young lady is going to go very far. Looking forward to seeing her on the big stage.

Its more then a dream to me, i wok so hard just like u. i really hope I’ll be just like you, breaking records, having titles, and run for USA.

Hi Bailey this is Lauren.Thx for the nice complement! I really appreciate it
Hello,
All your accomplishments are wonderful, and there is no doublt she will be a future olympian. I had a few question though. How often does she train. Does she play any other sports? Can she be an olympian straight out of highschool?
Thank-You,
Lauren has been training 2 x per week since the beginning. This year she will increase to 3 she plays volleyball. I imagine if you could become a top 3 athlete at trials any athlete could go regardless of age .It has happened but it isn’t frequently nor easy.
