Track Season Is Over…..School Is Almost In Again

Mom and Lauren USATF Junior Olympics 2010

This has been a very busy summer  for our family, and now ( finally) it is back to school next Wednesday the September 8th for Lauren. We have had a great summer but I need to get back to my regular schedule, all this vacation time (mostly Lauren’s not her parents LOL) is doing me in.

As I write this post Lauren is at Knott’s Berry Farm amusement park enjoying yet another summer day..Okay I am a little jealous..I have been feverishly trying to get back to TrackMom.com for almost 3 weeks now but, with getting back from Jo’s on the 10th,  Celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary on the 15th, leaving for our annual Mommy and me get away to Palms Springs for five days, seven days after returning from Jo’s, then one day after returning from Palms Springs leaving for another five days for business in Orlando.

At the Zumba Fitness Conference  our team lead by  my friend ,Dr.Eric Rivers  treated the lead performers, staff and particpants.

After observing an absolutely amazing group of instructors(over 3700 in total) that were learning new rountines and  attending related instructor courses, I of course wanted to find out if this Zumba Dance was hype or really as fun as it looked. I got home Sunday August 28th and on August 29th me and Lauren were at a class and yes it was alot of fun. So much we went again today and I plan on adding it to my work out rountine this season. NOOOOO I am not giving up my running but it is a nice change of pace. Can’t give up running this season maybe the one where I actually run in a parent relay..YIKES..Stay tuned : – )
