Interview with Olympic Hurdler Damu Cherry-Mitchell
January 7, 2010
Recently over at SportsGirlsPlay my friend and TrackMom.com web designer Char featured an interview with Olympian Damu Cherry. You probably remember Damu ran to a fast 4th at the Beijing Olympics in the 100m hurdles.Beyond the Olympics of 2008, Damu has big aspirations Cherry’s dreams are big. She has her eye on Gail Devers’ American record of 12.33, not far off her 12.44 personal record.
“My goal has been to really get close to that,” she said. “That’s just what’s exciting to me is that I know I’m on track to do some big things.”
