Dragging myself out of bed at the the last possible moment while Henry was getting the last things into the luggage a thought hit me-The cost for checked in luggage.Henry had checked a day ago or so. Something told me,check again. He went to the computer and checked again then I Screamed!!! 50.00 /person per 2 bags which we had Oh No! OMG. I quickly jumped out of the bed and dumped and rearranged things and decreased the lugagge by 2 bags in 3 minutes. Now my travel morning was off to a terrible start HAVING TO SPEND MONEY BEFORE I EVEN LEFT THE HOUSE,DARN.
Our new airfare cost just got increased to almost 300.00 for the trip. Okay gotta keep moving …I am over it.My mind quickly flashed to getting more family sponsors next year. Lauren got up and ready a few minutes earlier and is ready with a big smile,yes I was still working on mine. We load the car and we are off to the airport.No sooner than we get in the car and on the road the person that is our ride from the park and ride to the airport calls and says he has been rear ended. Just great… We are now 1/2 hour behind and counting. He calls back a few moments later and says it’s not to bad and he will be there shortly. I am still tying to adjust my attitude from the 300.00 bucks. We arrived at the park and ride and within 10 minutes our ride comes we are ready to leave and the driver side door won’t close….Oh no what next. Unexplainably it just won’t close.Needless to say it’s broken and I am feeling cursed at this moment. Henry rigged it some crazy way and we were off to the airport.
Fast forward. After a few wrong instructions, a little more airport tension we got checked in and only 60.00 dollars in baggage fees instead of the 90.00(she gave me a break for some reason) we are walking to the plane with 10 minutes to spare. Thank-You Jesus. We are on our way officially to North Carolina.
