Daesha Rodgers 3X BG Gold Medalist 800m and 1500m National Record Holder
Over the past week I have received many texts, E-mails,FB and phone calls about all the happenings at the World Junior Track and Field Trials and the Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championships. I have to admit I was in a little bit of “TRACK MEET ENVY”as I heard about the meet records being broken and “TRACK MEET GLEE”not being there with the weather challenges. All and all it gives TrackMom something to look forward to in the future as time and resources allow.

Of course my favorite Bantam Girl hands down is My Lauren, but next in line is a true stand out Daesha Rodgers Breaking both the 800m National record 2:22.78 and the 1500m in 4:50.97 and winning the 400m in 1:03.52. Daesha has to many standout performances to name here but her name will be one to remember as she follows in the great Florida tradition of recent youth now super talent Robyn Reynolds this summer championship season as she continues on her mutiple gold medal quest.
Congratulations ! Youth Girl 100m new National Record Kendall Baisden 11.73
