TrackMom Yard Sale Weekend

This weekend we are off from a meet and have managed to squeeze in a quick (well I did plan for this) yard sale with all proceeds going to Lauren’s track meet travel this season.It’s been a lot of fun guessing how much junk we can sale to folks to get to North Carolina LOL. I actually thought about this last season when we got so busy we had no time to do much around the house but plan for meets on the weekends.

So before the season really gets going We are going to have one BIG Yard Sale.Lots of great Junk, hun, I mean “Items” for sale. Come on by. Maybe you might want to have your own before your weekends are goobbled up.

Here’s a list below how to get a great start on a great yard sale.

So Go through your home and collect items Next……..

Price Items

Decide the dates and times of your sale

Write your ad

Place newspaper ad

Make sure items are cleaned and repaired

Decide where signs will go

Make signs with arrows depending on where you’ve decided to place them

Set up your tables and display areas and proper lighting

Get refreshments ready

Get checkout area ready:

              Change (have at least $40 in small bills and coins)
              Bags
              Calculator
              Newspaper (to wrap fragile items)
              Paper & pens

Put up signs (right before sale)

Open garage door & have fun!

Take signs down

Count your money! Ya Baby!
