“Greetings all you new track moms. I love it, as that I am a veteran! i wish someone would have told me all this way back when. Keep in mind when preparing for a day at the track how to condense/minimize supplies, but get maximun effect. Sometimes you have to walk a long way hauling stuff. Dont forget an umbrella. I hate to carry them, but…i just keep one of those itty bitty one’s just in case. It also helps to provide some shade at 2 p.m. when they decide to run the 5000 meters. Energy/snack bars are good for a long day. If you can get an airplane blanket, (i got them when the getting was good) they are lightweight and provide a decent amount of warmth should the weather turn chilly.
