Angela Williams one of the rare track and field athletes that has made the successful transition from Age Group to High School to College and the Pro’s. Every youth girl in the last 18 years has dreamed of breaking a “AW” record. There are so many to shoot for over 18 years.Hundreds of girls have tried. Here are the USATF Age Group Records she holds today, Bantam girl 100m record of 12.85 set 7.29.90 (my Lauren is no different she’s a Bantam girl this year) the Midget girl record 100m record 1992 12.10 and 200m 24.47 Intermediate girls 1995 100m 11.34 Junior Outdoor 100m 11.04
Let’s not forget becoming the Junior 100m Outdoor Champion ‘95,’97,’98 and ‘99
Fast forward to 2009 she ’s still going strong as the World Indoor Champion and going for the World Record .
