It’s Here! The 2009 Track Season

February 17, 2009

As we begin to prepare our kids for the 2009 track season ,reflect one last time on the highs, lows and in betweens of our kids season.
Medals and Ribbons DQ’s and the Q…. Tears and tears of joy…Records, almost records and personal records. It’s all part of the track and field road ready for a little new ground to be laid down with another season.

I ask myself questions in an effort to make the coming season the best every. Here are a few of my questions what are yours?

How can I be less stressed this season? What can I do to be more relaxed and organized?

What would make the season more fun as a family event?

Can I plan ahead for special family events that are scheduled the same time as a meet?

Remember the purpose of youth sports is fun.

Fun first…. All else follows.
