Miah Webb is an 11 year old girl on a sports mission. Miah lives in Glendale California and attends Grace Academy in Pasadena, California. A 3.75 student with a flare for art and fashion, Miah is an unlikely athlete on TrackMom. You ask WHY ?
Well, Miah has run in less than 5 track meets in the last 3 years. Miah is a budding tennis star(top 100 in California) and a super soccer player on a travel team too! Miah says she wants to run this year and she really loves the 400m,she knows just because she hasn’t trained doesn’t mean that she won’t get to her dream in the near future, a 59 second 400m. Last season she competed in the AAU qualifying meet for the AAU Nationals and actually qualified 3rd her first medal at a meet.She is determined to make it to a national meet this coming season. When you talk to Miah you know she’s serious and she makes you believe she can.
For a girl that isn’t INTO TRACK she really is INTO TRACK. I love Miah’s enthusiasm and if she can every fit in some time with tennis and Soccer and track she just might be Region 15′s next big thing…. I am going to keep an eye on Miah or as her mom calls her My-My. I will keep you posted.
