January 8, 2009
Track and Field….. It’s what we do. TrackMom is committed to bringing you all “New Things Track and Field”. With that in mind, we are excited to bring you some exciting news. Our colleagues at PreRaceJitters have done it again, introducing a new radio dubbed “PreRaceJitters’ Track & Field Radio Show.”
The ground breaking internet radio show covers elite and professional track and field including interviewing some of the sport’s key figures. In the shows second episode, hosts Jay Hicks and John W. Davis run down the hottest topics in the sport this week and have a insightful interview with Olympian and scholar athlete Shani Marks about her experiences in Beijing, balancing athletics and education, growing up in track & field as well as her goals of challenging the 2009 season.
Parents - Shani is a great role model for our youth athletes as a leader on and off the track. An academic All-America and Big Ten Medal of Honor winner, Marks graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2002, earning a master’s degree in kinesiology with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Tune into the show directly from PreRaceJitters’ website or download the file to your mp3 player. You can subscribe to PreRaceJitters’ Track & Field Weekly via iTunes.
