“When the lights go on . . . the stars come out.”:Saturday night at Arcadia is a happening. There have been to date, 24 National High school records set here, and 125 Arcadia athletes have gone on to the U.S. Olympic team. Arcadia is a fast paced exciting meet for both the athlete and the spectator alike.
The Arcadia Invitational Forty Years plus history grew from an idea for a local night meet by the then Coach Doug Smith to the nation’s largest prep activity sponsored and run by a high school .
