Mom Watching Brooke Win Her First Gold Medal

Brooke Snow of San Diego Cheetah track club is a sub-bantam who just turned 8. This was her first year of track & field and she did not get started until the end of April. Even with being new to track and getting a late start she has still managed to be on the National Elite Honor roll for long jump with a jump of 9’11″, and ran her first 400M race with a time of 120….winning her first GOLD medal!! In her 100M & 200M races she has made the finals at the last few meets and has gotten her times down to a 16.4 100M and a 35.2 200M. She wishes there were more meets this season so she could hit even lower times. She is really looking forward to next season! In addition to being a little “Track Star” Brooke is also a Super Student! She got perfect 2nd grade report cards all year in both academics & citizenship and passed the GATE test. Smart & Fast!! Brooke attends Avocado Elementary school in La Mesa, CA. Nicol and Dennis Snow have 2 other children, Cade 14 yrs (he plays football (middle linebacker) and he will run next  season and Blake is 4 years .He will start track when he is 6  in 2010. Watch out for both of them, they are fast  too!!
