Yesterday, was a tough track day again….Good for Lauren, 1st in her 100m heat 3rd over all,but me, oooooh. Where do I begin, arrived late to the track (looked at the schedule wrong, “Lesson Take Away” Always double check your schedule. Lost keys for awhile, you get the picture. After all that the Philadelphia Track Family continued to be warm ,very gracious. That really helped when I was running around like a chicken with her head freshly chopped off.. : )
At this point I just want to salute all you single TrackMoms that do this “Track Thing” week in and out with no helping hand.Lord knows the kids aren’t much help, especially before their races.”Mom I have to run sooooooon” YA,YA YA. Plan meals, Personal hydration monitor, Entertainment Director, Part Time Coaching, Rest monitor, Over Excertion Monitor (“No swimming honey you know why”, No not tomorrow either…) : ) I could go on.I have had a great time but I plan on never traveling to a meet with out Henry again NEVER….
