Jordan broke the national high school record for the1500m in a semifinal heat at Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon . Her time of 4:14.50 bested the previous mark by 2.1 seconds,finishing 7th over all. The other High School sensation Christine Babcock also qualified for the 1500m finals in an earlier heat .
I know I am late, but Hasay finished 5th in her heat. I missed the women’s finals, tho. Saw the men’s and I must say that Hasay ran like a veteran whereas former high school phenom Alan Webb ran like a nincompoop.
