Daesha Rodgers also known as Lil’Flo Jo continues to dominate the the youth AAU Primary and Sub-bantam divisions,looking forward to becoming a USATF Bantam division leader this season as well.
She has been running since the age of five years old. She has consistently made it to the Junior Olympics each year (from 2005 until present). She Participates in the 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m.
At the 2007 USATF Junior Olympics held in Walnut, CA she ran the 800m and 1500m. She won the gold medal in the 1500m and 4th in the 800m. Because she was 8 at the time she had to move up to the Bantam division (9 and 10 year olds) to participate in the meet.
At the 2007 AAU Junior Olympics National Championship held in Knoxville, Tennessee she ran the 200m, 400m, and the 800m.
She won all three races and broke records in the 400m and 800m. She is listed as an All-American Athlete by the National Youth Ranking System (www.eliteyouth.com) in the “under 9″ division and the “Bantam (9-10)” division.
She has broken several records in various track meets BAYTAF, AAU Club Championship, Northwest Express Classic). She recently ran in the AAU Cross Country National Championship in Virginia Beach, VA (12/1/07) where she also won the GOLD! (See Picture above)

2007 Miami Northwest Express Classic: 400m (1:09.37), 800m (2:38.56)

If you have never had the pleasure to watch this Phenom run you are in for a treat. Daesha lives in the state of Florida.
She has the poise of an elite Olympian and you can’t help but wonder just where she will be in about 7-10 years. I hope training for the Olympics… In what ever event she lands in. Keep up the good work!!

wow daesha is really fast. i seen her run this year in florida. i hope to see her in the jo games. i ‘ve been running for 3 yrs too. i only made it for the 400 and the 200. good job daesha
